Bio:

We released Julia Lucille's album Chthonic on April 7, 2017. Chthonic (pronounced thonic) refers to the underworld, specifically the mythology surrounding Persephone and her journey toward darkness and ultimately rebirth. 

Gorilla vs. Bear called it "smoldering, vulnerable dream-folk" and "one of the most beautiful and haunting records you're going to hear all year."

NPR’s “All Songs Considered” wrote, “She’s got a soft, calm voice, but I would call the music behind her tempestuous. It felt like a gathering storm behind her.”
