Real Live Tigers - Tomboys / Even Still

This 7" record features two songs recorded at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee on September 6, 2013.

Both songs were recorded live in two takes and mixed on the spot, as was the custom during Sun's golden years.

Both songs have lyrical nods to great country songs. "Tomboys" references the Wanda and Ruth Neal song "Round Town Girls" and "Even Still," which is part of the "Life is Easy" affirmation series of songs, references the Willie Nelson song "Night Life".
