Jordan's label debut Long Night is witty, literary folk-country in the vein of the Texas outlaw greats, with nods to folks like John Prine and Guy Clark. Molly Burch sings on all 8 tracks of this record, including the country duet "Road To Trouble" that closes it out.
Jordan's lyrics stand out as sage, irreverent, and dark-night-of-the-soul and can traverse so many emotions within one line. An artist in many mediums, Jordan has been a ballet dancer professionally for the past 10 years with Ballet Austin, as well as a prolific filmmaker, creating three music videos for Molly Burch and choreographing and dancing in Adam Torres' breathtaking video for "Juniper Arms."
He's been recording and self-releasing his own music for over 10 years, but this is his label debut with Keeled Scales. Jordan writes music that is quietly wise, with memorable melodies and gut-punch lyricism.
He embarks on a solo acoustic tour July 10 through 30, bookended by shows at the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galveston, Texas and an album release show at Austin's historic Cactus Cafe.
